My Hair
Do you like your hair type?
I have naturally curly hair, but I envy those people that have naturally straight hair that is easy to manage. What I wouldn't love is to be able to go take a shower, or even go swimming and dunk my head in the water and be able to get out and have it look awesome with barely any effort.
Dream on......over the years I have had to try and find what works for me
Back in the day I had every hairstyle imaginable. Short hair that I got called "Broccoli head" - then I grew my hair out a bit, to only cut it into a bob style, which btw my mom wouldn't talk to me for a week because she was so upset about it. Now looking back at pictures, I get it LOL
Curly hair has a mind of it's own, that's for sure - and it always looks the best right before you go to bed or have no where to go.
When I was younger I used Dippity Do gel, which was probably one of the best products that worked for my hair, I have curly hair - not wavy or coily - curly for sure.
I have tried many, many, many products from Argan oil, leave in conditioner, then mousse, to all types of spray gels and nothing seems to give the simplicity of what I use now. I see so many influencers with their curly hair routines and a lot of them use so many products, and I don't want to spend all the time and money trying to perfect my hair - half the time it would look nice and half the time it would look awful.
I use LUS curling cream. It has been by far the best product that I've ever used, and it's so easy. Water activates the power. All I have to do is soak my hair with water, and then use a few dollops of Lus Curling Cream to my hair and get to scrunching. I will also plop my hair for as much time as I can and then I diffuse and then scrunch the cast out!
I have had many people come up to me and ask me what I use on my hair because it gives amazing definition and my curls are bouncy and there is no frizz.
LUS makes products for coily, and wavy hair too - along with shampoo and conditioner, and you can buy it online on their website or if you are in Calgary - it's at the Curl Warehouse!
