My Hair

 Do you like your hair type? I have naturally curly hair, but I envy those people that have naturally straight hair that is easy to manage.  What I wouldn't love is to be able to go take a shower, or even go swimming and dunk my head in the water and be able to get out and have it look awesome with barely any effort. Dream on......over the years I have had to try and find what works for me Back in the day I had every hairstyle imaginable.  Short hair that I got called "Broccoli head"  - then I grew my hair out a bit, to only cut it into a bob style, which btw my mom wouldn't talk to me for a week because she was so upset about it.  Now looking back at pictures, I get it LOL Curly hair has a mind of it's own, that's for sure - and it always looks the best right before you go to bed or have no where to go. Visits

What is a spirit visitation? A gentle reminder that our loved ones are watching over us from heaven. Maybe a dream, an animal, a person that looks JUST like them, a song that comes on the radio, your electronics goes wonky and your personal things may shift. They come in many ways. Before my mom passed away I would rarely get these visits, and now I seem to get them more frequently. Maybe over time I've become more open to these, and they are so incredible. When I'm sleeping is when I get the majority of my visits, and they make me feel connected to the people that have passed. The way they smell - How they feel -  How they look - How it feels to touch them again -  It's like they are hugging you in the physical form. I had a visit this past summer when I returned from visiting my dad, and that night my mom came to me while I was sleeping and she was standing there right beside my bed, and I got to hug her so tight - it felt amazing, and it was just what I needed....

The First One

Old journals Do I keep them or throw them out?  OR do you burn them so when you die there is no way someone could read your awkward conversation to yourself? I have some old journals that are actually pretty cringey to read again.  I came across my old journal from when I was a teenager the other day and began reading it and it brought me back to that exact time of my life.   I could remember what type of clothes I was wearing, how my hair was styled, what the room looked like, the posters on the wall, the paint color, the way the room felt, how it smelt, what my parents were doing, who I was spending time with....all the things.   They may have been short little tidbits of my life at that point, but boy oh boy are they something.  If anyone were to read these, I think I'd die of embarrassment. As years went on with these journal entries, it wasn't as bad, but I would still never want anyone to find them.  In saying that,  I've always wanted ...
